Protection & Integrity.
Those are the words on the emblem they proudly wear on their sleeves, but what they should really say is Brainless Mannequins. As some of you might now for more than 20 days, students from the University of Puerto Rico have been on strike fighting for their rights and those of future generations. Sadly, on recent weeks, the situation has turned a bit violent due to the increased presence of the Police Force on all campuses around the Island.
The violent ones are them. The police officers. They hit and tease students and other strikers with their shafts and show a rude attitude. So far there hasn’t been a dead-on way to prove how nasty their true intentions are, but this week this has come to an end. This due to public comments members of the police have made on their personal Facebook accounts.
Here I leave you the evidence in spanish, un-translated in order to not alter their words when doing so.
ESTO SE ACABO ……….VAMOS A JENDER A LOS TURBAS QUE NO QUIREN ESTUDIAR Y PERMITIRLE EL PASO A LOS QUE SI JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA” (Jaime Cruz, Cptn.)
(Jose Rosado)
- Isander Galarza posted pictures on his account and titled the album “Listos para la masacre!!!”.
These are the expressions of those who swore to protect us. And these aren’t the only ones, puertorrican twitter users have reported over 7 cases like these ones.
(I am not blurring their faces because people should know the faces of those who oppress our students. Also I encourage you to report them on Facebook for hate speech and threatening others.)
